Summary
A straigtforward loyalty card system as a replacement or complement to physical loyalty cards. The core idea is simple. The shopkeeper scans a qr code ( a kind of barcode ) with an Android phone. This code may be either printed on a real card or displayed on a smartphone screen ( Android,Iphone, ...)
The client download a client for software of their choice. For Android , a simple client with a code generator is included , for other smartphones , you may use any qr code wallet application available for your system. In that case you have to scan an identity code once , for instance the one on the physical card given to you by the shopkeeper.
With this system , clients won't any more forget their keypoint at home , will shopkeeper will dramatically reduce their operational cost , as the physical card does not need to be stamped, hence it can be reused.
Customer could even use their own business card as an identifer , as no specific code format is required ( but it has to be unique!), and a hash algortihm derives the key from your personnal data so that you keep your data private. But its more advisable to use generated codes, which are usually smaller hence have low scan error rate.
Typicall application is a 'buy 10 get 1 free' system in a Pizzeria. We may also implement other fidelity scheme on demand.
