Easily connect to the Wifi
A friend is coming to visit you
and would like to connect to your Wifi but
you don't remember what the wifi password is and anyway , its terribly
annoying to
enter this password on a smartphone keyboard.
A second scenario is that you are a shopkeeper, you could
also print the 'bar' ( or restaurant , or whatever )
public Wifi QR and display it on a wall or in the menu. Then a customer
with this application can
easily connect to your Wifi while having a business lunch.
Let's assume Bob invites Judy tonight , and let's see how Bob will help
her connecting to the
Wifi.
Bob takes his Android phone , which is already connected to the Wifi ,
as he is at home.
He opens QR Code Scanner and navigates to the wallet page , using the
unique 'card' icon
that appears at the bottom of the screen.
He
now clicks on the 'Wifi' tab , and initially sees a blank list. Now Bob
imports the Wifi configurations he has in his phone by
clicking on the double allow icon, at the bottom of the screen.
We see bob has 2 configurations . Let's assume the first is its
compan'y Wifi , and the second is its home Wifi.
Bob clicks on the desired Wifi configuration to display it as a QR Code
on the phone.

Note that both people do not need the application. Bob could have the
wifi setting printed on a sheet of paper , and it could be
displayed
by a non Android Phone as well. But QR Code Scanner is convenient to
get the QR Code from the active wifi configuration.
Now Judy takes her Android phone , opens QR Code Scanner , and scans
the QR Code

We she gets prompted if she wants to use the code, she clioks ok. She
waits 30 seconds,
allowing time for the phone to connect to the Wifi. That's it.
Note:
On some Wifi routers , Bob may also need to click on a button
, before Judy tries to connect.
This button is sometimes called 'association' button.
so that the router can accepts the
